As a retired athletic director, administrator, coach and teacher, I am excited to have a career in real estate. My "competitive spirit" has not retired! I have taught and coached at San Antonio Edison high school, Texas State University and Austin-Westlake high school. In 1990, I made the change into administration as assistant principal at Del Valle Junior High.In 1992, I was appointed athletic director for Del Valle ISD.

Started the Women's track program at Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University)
1992
Appointed Athletic Director for Del Valle ISD. I was one of only 5 women at the time that were responsible for men''s and women's high school athletic programs
1996
Received the ATLANTA Award as a role-model for Women in Athletic Administration. 2005
Awarded the Texas Athletic Director of the Year by the National Council of Secondary School Athletic Directors and the Texas Association of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation
No award is as satisfying as working with student-athletes and touching lives.
The most important award of my career was to be called "coach"
My experiences in working with parents, students, administrators, school boards and the community has given me exceptional insight into working with people in all facets of life.
